Depending on your nationality and present academic or professional situation, you can choose among three different programmes at five different levels.
- Types of programmes
Monesia considers three different programmes:- Credit transfer programme:
- The student will spend up to one academic year at the host university and will follow the courses specified in a Learning Agreement. The Learning Agreement will have to be agreed on and signed by the home and host universities prior to the departure of the grantee. The grantee will remain enrolled at the home university during the period abroad. The host university will provide the grantee with a transcript confirming that the program of study has been completed listing the student results. The study period abroad will be fully recognized by the home university according to the Learning Agreement.
- Short stays:
- Doctorate and post-doctorate grantees will mainly perform research and specialized training activities at the host university.
- Short stays for academic staff are open to research, teaching, specialized training and activities related to institutional cooperation.
In both cases, a detailed working plan must be submitted together with the application. At the end of the period abroad, grantees will have to provide a report specifying the outcomes of the work performed. This document must be signed by the head of department or the corresponding academic unit. The short stay period has to be an integral part of the grantee’s doctoral program or career development plan.
- Full degree programme:
- Undergraduate, master and doctoral students will have the opportunity to follow a full degree programme and obtain an academic degree from the host university.
- Credit transfer programme:
